​

The way ratings work here at Wicked Metal Review is quite simple. We rate albums on a scale of 1 through 10.

 

10 is the highest possible praise, I'll be recommending the album for months or even years to come.

 

9 is excellent, a well-polished album with loads of potential for the future.

 

8 is satisfactory. The album pleases and doesn't leave much wanted.

 

7 is commendable. The band maybe brings something new to the table I haven't heard before.

 

6 is above average and I'll likely still recommend the record to my friends.

 

5 is the median. The album satisfies the listener - but you won't catch me raving about it.

 

4 is OK, but certainly not something I'm going to listen to again.

 

3 is plain and boring. Snooze.

 

2 is downright insignificant and unnoteworthy.

 

1 is noxious, rotten and I'll probably be sick after listening.
