Wednesday Wrangling April 15th

Hey all, and welcome to your Wednesday Wrangling. I will be highlighting some new releases with quick bites rather than going into full reviews for each. And with that, let's get into it, shall we?

We've Got Hostiles - Family, Home, Justice, Rage

Crossover thrashers We've Got Hostiles released their debut record, Family, Home, Justice, Rage, on April 14th. 33 minutes of tasty riffs and sick bass lines, this is a very promising first effort from the Dallas based band. Standout track: "Dunkirk Spirit"

Sibentodt - I

Russian group Sibentodt released I on April 14th. It's raw and rotten to the core, some straight up blackened death metal here. The composition of the instruments is fantastic to listen to, and the mixing makes it feel very full. Standout track: "The Land of Winds"

壕Trench - Blossom

You're not going to find any sort of filler on this record. Calgary based metalcore/hardcore band 壕Trench are seeking total destruction on their latest record, and plan to take down some barriers in the heavy scene along the way. Honestly, it's a badass record and probably my favorite from this past week on this list. Standout track: "Crystal Shame"

The Great Lie - Defying Extinction

NY based punk/metal quintet The Great Lie dropped this piece of fast paced heaven on April 13th. It's a veritable riff filled utopia of rage with vocalist Kerry's shouts ripping throughout. Standout track: "Devilbox"

And that's it for this today! Be sure to check back soon for more full length reviews, and next week for another edition of the wrangling.
