Wednesday Wrangling - April 29th

Hey all, and welcome to your Wednesday Wrangling. I will be highlighting some new releases with quick bites rather than going into full reviews for each. And with that, let's get into it, shall we?

DRYLAND - Dances With Waves - April 20th

Washington band DRYLAND are one that has slipped my radar in the past, but no longer! Their blend of progressive stoner rock grows on you, and at times reminds me of Mastodon. That makes sense, as the record was produced and engineered by Matt Bayles, the same man behind albums from bands such as Mastodon, The Sword and ISIS.

EARTHDIVER - Lord Of The Cosmos - April 20th

Denver doomers EARTHDIVER have unleashed their first full length after a couple singles and an EP. Lord Of The Cosmos is heavy as hell, and while you can surely hear some Electric Wizard or Sleep in there, they manage to twist the stoner fuzz sound into their own creation worthy of listening. Right now (I don't know for how long) it's up for a free download, so check it out!

DIVINE CHAOS - The Way To Oblivion - April 24th

London thrashers Divine Chaos released their 2nd full length, The Way To Oblivion, on April 24th. It's an eight track old school thrash record with more than a hint of death in it, making it a thrash/death album? Who cares, it sounds fucking great and y'all should check it out. FFO Obituary, Carcass.

Dimensioner - Dimensioner - April 29th

Cali band Dimensioner is cranking out some next level doom, and while there is little on the internet about this band, anytime I see a release has been touched by Brad Boatright I have to take notice.
